We are a proud and active partner of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Our collaboration goes beyond fundraising; it is a commitment to fighting this disease and supporting those affected by it.
Ascent Living Communities is consistently one of the top fundraising teams in Colorado for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Our staff and residents participate enthusiastically, raising awareness and funds for critical research.
We also utilize the Association’s resources to provide education and support groups for our families, ensuring they have the tools they need to navigate the journey of memory loss.
Metro State University
We are dedicated to shaping the future of the senior living workforce. Through our partnership with Metro State University (MSU) and their hospitality program, we are bridging the gap between education and industry.
We provide internships, mentorship, and hands-on training opportunities for MSU students, exposing them to the rewarding career paths available in senior living.
By fostering this talent pipeline, we are ensuring a bright future for our industry and cultivating the next generation of compassionate leaders.
Geri-Aides Pilot Program
We are constantly innovating our approach to recruitment and training. We are currently piloting the “Geri-Aides” program, an initiative designed to bring new talent into the healthcare field.
This program hires individuals with a passion for caregiving and provides them with the training and certification they need to become Qualified Medication Administration Professionals (QMAPs) and caregivers.
